Static Electricity

STATIC ELECTRICITY is a problem for computers.  Static electricity can create short bursts of very high voltage which can travel from keyboards into computer circuit boards.  This can zap data from memory chips and CPU chips.  Cold, dry weather makes the static electricity problem worse.  Make you own inexpensive Anti-Static Spray by dissolving a capful of Downey fabric softener into a spray bottle of water.  Lightly spray carpets and chairs with a fine mist to avoid static electricity.  If you spray at night the chairs will be dry by the morning.
